Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Civil EIT with a Water Resources specialization to join our growing team in Austin. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

The role involves developing proposals, scopes, and fees, managing planning, modeling, regulatory compliance, and permitting, and collaborating with clients and authorities. Strong communication with non-engineers is required to effectively convey plans and risk considerations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 0+ years of experience in water resources.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS is preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations.
  • Ability to communicate plans in collaboration with non-engineer decision makers.

  • Develop relationships with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience with software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS is preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations.
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with non-Engineer decision makers and be able to communicate plans.
