Job summary

Verdantas seeks an Oil & Gas Civil Engineer to join our Wilkes-Barre and Pittsburgh offices, contributing to planning, design, permitting, and construction of pipelines, well pads, water impoundments, storage facilities, and natural gas distribution utilities.

With a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 3–5 years of Oil & Gas experience, you’ll use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools, hold an EIT (PA PE preferred), and be willing to travel for field assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of Civil Engineering experience, with 2+ years in Oil & Gas.
  • EIT required; Pennsylvania PE preferred.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required; certifications a plus.
  • HydroCAD and/or Hydraflow experience required.
  • Able to travel for field assignments.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Civil site design and grading.
  • Pipeline alignment routing and design.
  • Erosion and sediment control design.
  • Perform stormwater management analysis and design.
  • Production of Permit/Construction Drawing sets.
  • Permit package preparation and submittals.

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the oil and gas industry while working on complex infrastructure projects across Pennsylvania? Verdantas is seeking a skilled Oil & Gas Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting projects out of both our Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Pittsburgh, PA offices.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the planning, design, permitting, and construction of vital oil and gas infrastructure, including pipelines, well pads, water impoundments, storage facilities, and natural gas distribution utilities. You’ll participate in field reviews, site layout, pipeline routing, drawing preparation, permit applications, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater analysis and design.

Salary Range:

The starting salary for this position is $86,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, location, and licensing status.
