Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and development of wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure, including rehabilitation and new construction projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Conduct field investigations and site visits.
• Assist with technical reports, cost estimates, project documentation, and construction administration.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll contribute to wastewater treatment and collection system projects while building your technical expertise and progressing toward PE licensure.

What You’ll BringEducation & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Passed the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam and actively working toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Experience in the design of wastewater systems.
• Ability to utilize modeling software such as HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, GPS-X, and PCSWMM.
• Knowledge of EPA, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.

Travel
