City of Woodstock, Illinois seeks a Civil Engineer I/II to assist in planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining public infrastructure and capital projects. The role supports project management under the Engineering Director's supervision in a dynamic municipal department.
Minimum qualifications include a civil engineering degree, two years of related experience, and a valid driver's license; FE exam is preferred, PE licensure within six months is encouraged for higher-grade consideration.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Civil Engineer I/II in the Engineering and Operations Department. This position is responsible for assisting with the planning, designing, construction, and maintenance of the City's public infrastructure and capital improvement projects and assisting with project management under the supervision of the Engineering Director.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The starting salary for Engineer I, a full-time/exempt role will be commensurate with experience, with a salary range of $86,006.17 - $94,598.40 (Grade P). Engineer applicants with a P.E. and five (5) years of relevant experience will be considered for the higher graded position of Civil Engineer II (Grade Q), with a salary range of $94.568.45 - $108,763.20. Additionally, an excellent benefits package is provided including, but not limited to, group health insurance and IMRF pension.
