Larson is seeking an Engineer I - Civil in Iowa to perform defined portions of engineering tasks using established methods. You will contribute to computations and analyses, observe construction activities, and submit work for QA/QC review under supervision.

This entry-level role emphasizes growth in professional ethics and licensure pursuit. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, passing the FE exam (or in progress), strong communication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• FE exam is required or in process.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Ability to follow directions and learn.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Exposure to engineering project work through internships, coursework, or field experience.
• Interest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Responsibilities

• Performs defined portions of broader engineering assignments using established methods and guidance from experienced engineers.
• Performs standard computations and analysis.
• May participate in site visits or observe construction activities to support project understanding.
• Submits work to the Project Manager for QA/QC review and incorporates feedback as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
