Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer I for our Honolulu, HI office. The role involves developing analytic and design skills under supervision, performing basic engineering tasks, and preparing drawings and calculations with guidance. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required, along with a U.S.

driver's license and MVR screening. Preferred candidates will have knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit and strong Microsoft Office skills, with an organized, innovative mindset.

Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
  • As a condition of employment, candidate must pass Motor Vehicle Records review.

Job Description

AECOMis seeking aCivil Engineer Ifor the Honolulu, HI office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Builds analytic and design skills.
  • Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
  • Performs work per agreed budget and schedule under supervision.
Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher incivil engineeringand/or related experience or education.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
  • As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Some Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Knowledgeable in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Well organized and possesses an innovative mindset.
