Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer in Phoenix with 4–7+ years of experience to work on challenging projects from civil design through construction. The role requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complete engineering packages.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, EIT certification, and ideally a PE license with Arizona registration. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong communication are essential for client coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Certified Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred; Arizona registration preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in civil design for commercial, office, mixed-use, residential, municipal, energy and Federal projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to foster long term client relationships.
• Arizona experience and relationships a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering skills to civil design projects through construction.
• Collaborate with a multi-discipline design team to deliver complete packages.
• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Support project managers in preparing design documents and specifications.
