Job summary

EMCS, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an entry-level civil engineer to join our transportation team and contribute to highway planning and transportation engineering projects that serve communities.

From day one, you'll apply your foundational knowledge in a collaborative environment, with opportunities to work on WisDOT roadway and bridge projects, and occasional field construction observation, inspection, and administration during construction season.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• FE exam preferred as a plus.
• Prior transportation engineering experience (internship or professional).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Support highway planning and transportation engineering projects.
• Assist in development of infrastructure solutions for communities.
• Collaborate with team on WisDOT roadway and bridge projects.
• Participate in construction season field activities including observation and inspection.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
