Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation or modification of plans, specifications, reports, construction schedules, permits, and project designs.
• Perform specific and limited portions of broader assignments under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Prepare design calculations and quantity estimates.
• Assist in developing probable construction cost estimates for projects.
• Serve as onsite project representative.
• Review construction sites to monitor progress and perform other duties as required by contract documents.

On Any Given Day You’ll

• Assist in the preparation or modification of plans, specifications, reports, construction schedules, permits, and project designs

• Apply standard practices and techniques, adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies, and follow operations through related steps or processes
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and government regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, or will take the exam within six months of hire
• Applied for or received EIT license, or will obtain one within six months of hire
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
