Job summary
Shive-Hattery's Public Infrastructure- Transportation group seeks a Civil Engineer to design complex infrastructure, prepare CAD drawings, reports and technical specifications, and assist in onsite construction administration and observation.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, be a recent graduate or early career Engineer Intern (0–3 years), have passed the Fundamentals Of Engineering exam, be designated as an EI, and be proficient with Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- 0–3 years of experience as an Engineer Intern or recent graduate is acceptable.
- Familiarity with FE exam and EI designation is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Responsibilities
- Designing complex infrastructure and preparing CAD drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
- Assist in onsite construction administration and observation to ensure contractor compliance with contract documents.

You'll also assist in onsite construction administration and observation to ensure contractor compliance with contract documents.
Requirements: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and be a recent graduate or early career Engineer Intern with 0 to 3 years of experience. Successful completion of the Fundamentals Of Engineering (FE) exam and designation as an Engineer Intern (EI) is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
