Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a senior Civil Engineer to support industrial and utility-scale infrastructure projects. You will lead reviews of mass grading, drainage design, and permitting, and coordinate civil/architectural disciplines to ensure constructability and compliance.

Responsibilities include developing construction documents, RFIs, field changes, and coordinating with consultants and clients. Travel to site locations may be required as projects advance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
8+ years of professional civil engineering experience, preferably supporting industrial, mission-critical, or utility-scale infrastructure.
Strong proficiency evaluating mass grading, pavement profiles, and site drainage design with constructability/value engineering focus.
Proven ability to coordinate civil/structural work with architectural, MEP, and low-voltage disciplines.
Experience interpreting civil codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Proficiency with engineering review/documentation tools (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, Revit, ACC).
Ability to review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and field changes for compliance and constructability.
Strong organizational and communication skills; able to work with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
Availability to travel to domestic and international project sites as needed.

Requirements
