Responsibilities

• Investigates construction-engineering problems that may require contract changes or could result in a contractor claim.
• Prepares periodic progress reports by compiling data from field personnel to determine percentage completion for each contract.
• Reviews actual percentage completion vs. schedule and evaluates contractor progress.
• Reports unsatisfactory progress to the Resident Engineer and handles contractor submittals, RFIs, letters, and invoices.
• Resolves safety and quality control issues with the contractor.
• Performs quality assurance inspections and quantity verifications.
