What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct cause and origin determinations for construction defects and structural failures
- Manage forensic investigations and provide expert-level consultation to clients
- Produce written technical reports defending observations and conclusions
- Coordinate multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of client deliverables
- Adhere to safety protocols and land use laws and regulations
- Establish and maintain client relationships
- Deliver technical presentations for litigation and marketing support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. Civil Engineering degree or higher
- Oregon P.E. license required
- 10+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer
- Project management and field investigation experience
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills
- Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel up to 25% with some overnight travel
