Responsibilities
Conduct forensic analysis of properties to resolve claims.
Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
Investigate and analyze residential, commercial, and industrial properties to resolve claims and legal matters.
Conduct forensic assignments in civil engineering based on pre-defined scope and budget.
Perform field investigations to determine causes of construction defects, structural failures, or building envelope issues; document conditions, gather evidence, conduct interviews, oversee testing, and review drawings, contracts, and historical records.
Prepare clear written and oral reports detailing findings, repair scope, and recommendations; provide expert testimony as needed.
Manage multiple projects, coordinating with other experts to deliver timely client reports.
Ensure adherence to procedures, safety standards, and due diligence.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Required Experience, Education, and Certifications
B.S. in Civil Engineering (or higher); P.E. required.
2–10+ years of experience; project management and field investigation preferred.
Additional licenses/certifications may be required depending on location.
