Job summary

Discovered Search is seeking a Civil Engineer to advance communities through civil site design, surveying, and drone-based mapping. You’ll work on commercial, municipal, industrial, and land-development projects, applying precise engineering practices and modern tools to deliver high-quality designs across multiple states.

Bring 2–5+ years of civil engineering experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil site design including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways.

• Conduct site visits, mentor junior staff, manage timelines and client expectations.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and contributing to civil site design: grading, drainage systems, utilities, roadway and parking layouts, and stormwater management
• Preparing engineering plans, reports, calculations, and permitting packages
• Coordinating with survey teams, structural engineers, project managers, and clients
• Conducting site visits and supporting field-related engineering tasks
• Overseeing project timelines, deliverables, and client communication
• Applying sound engineering judgment and mentoring junior team members as needed
