About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Concord or Lunenburg, MA. This role focuses on land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, a passion for designing sustainable and functional spaces, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure for land development projects.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to support project planning.
• Create and review civil engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Prepare permit applications and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, surveyors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform stormwater management design and analysis in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide construction oversight and support, including responding to RFIs and ensuring adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
• 3–7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of local and state land use regulations, permitting processes, and zoning requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
