Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Land/Site Development Team across the USA in a hybrid role. Licensed PE or EIT ready to take the next step preferred; 3+ years in land development or site civil projects required.

This position focuses on hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, and educational campuses with collaboration across architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• EIT or PE certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and stormwater modeling.
• 3+ years in land development/site civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
• Design grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utility layouts.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation.

Role description:

Arcadis is growing-and we want you to grow with us! Due to an exciting surge in projects, we’re opening the door for a talented Civil Engineer to join our Land/Site Development Team across the USA. In this hybrid role, you’ll work on some of the most dynamic and complex civil development projects-think hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping centers, and educational campuses. If you bring strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for creating innovative solutions, we’d love to have you on our team!

Role accountabilities:

• Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
• Design grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utility layouts
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3 or more years working in land development or site civil projects
• Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required) - EIT or PE certification preferred
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and related tools
• Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and regulatory processes
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Commitment to health and safety

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $ $68,187 to $112,000 . Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
