Job summary

JT Engineering, Inc. seeks an entry‑level to early‑career Civil Engineer to support design, transportation, and land development projects across Wisconsin. You will work under senior staff, apply civil engineering knowledge, and contribute to client relations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and adherence to JT’s quality standards. Office locations include Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, Eau Claire, with occasional travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• EIT certification preferred or commitment to obtain.
• Entry level to 3 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or site inspection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical competence to perform project tasks independently.
• Ability to learn client and internal software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Entry level to 3 years of experience in the Civil Engineering industry
• Engineer In Training (EIT) Certification preferred, or a demonstrated commitment to obtain the certification
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or site inspection
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical competence to perform project tasks independently
• Ability to learn client and internal software required to complete projects
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
• To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located
• To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work
