Job summary

gpac is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join a growing engineering firm in Charlotte, NC. You will design and develop civil projects for residential, municipal and commercial sites, preparing plans, documents and specifications.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Land Development design experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Software experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation and other design tools.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Civil Engineering design skills to prepare design plans, construction documents, reports and other project documents.
• Work on residential, municipal and commercial site development projects.
• Prepare design specifications and perform technical review on specifications.
