Job summary

Kimley-Horn's West Lafayette, IN office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training with 2+ years of experience to join our Land Development team. You will perform site development engineering and project management for a variety of projects, including site civil design and permitting, using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

In addition to technical work, you will engage in research, coordination, cost estimating, and client interactions, with mentorship and training to advance your career.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience at a civil engineering design firm.
• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree.
• EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management for diverse projects.
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and use AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Handle land development site designs and coordination.
• Support research, project management, cost estimating and client interactions.
• Receive training and mentorship while growing in plan production and project finances.
