Job summary

Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Civil Design Engineer/Project Manager based in Emporia, KS, with occasional travel. You will oversee multiple civil design projects, coordinate with clients and agencies, and drive project studies, reports, and calculations to ensure quality and timeliness.

The role combines design work with project management, mentoring, and client relations to support growth and service excellence in municipal and site development projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Kansas P.E. license or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Experience in civil site development and municipal projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and interact with production staff, clients, and review agencies.
• Develop and QAQC plans for site development and public improvement projects.
• Coordinate daily workflow on projects, including studies, reports, and calculations.
• Mentor junior staff and help grow the client base.
