Job summary

Rick Engineering Company is seeking a Civil Design Engineer in Riverside, California, for full-time regular professional work. The role involves leading grading and road design within land development projects and applying Civil 3D skills to finalize plans and maps for subdivision work.

Qualified candidates will have a BSCE (or 8 years equivalent) and hands-on experience with grading from concept to final plans, along with knowledge of local codes and standards in the Inland Empire.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience in land development plus BSCE or the equivalent work experience of 8 years.
• Experience must include the ability to take grading plans from conceptual design to final plans, as well as preparation and processing of maps and plans for subdivision and land development projects, including road design, drainage and earthwork calculations.
• Must have knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards and procedures preferably in the Inland Empire.
• AutoCad/Civil 3D experience required.
