Cannon Corp in Los Angeles is seeking a Civil Engineer to design and prepare drawings for pipelines, pump stations, and water/wastewater facilities. You will perform earthwork and structural calculations and coordinate with agencies and contractors.

You will provide field observations, update the project manager on progress, and ensure compliance with company drawing standards. A bachelor’s or master’s in civil engineering is required, with 2 years of experience. Competitive benefits offered.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• 2 years of experience or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Environmental Engineering or closely related.

Responsabilidades

• Design and prepare drawings for pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, water/wastewater treatment facilities, storm drains, sanitary sewer and water lines.
• Perform calculations for basic earthwork, drainage, and grading and/or structural analysis.
• Coordinate with agencies, utility companies, vendors, material suppliers and contractors to obtain information and guidance.
• Provide field observation and reports.
• Update the project manager of progress of work and inform him/her of problems and questions.
• Work closely with team members to gain understanding of project requirements and tasks as well as office procedures, policies, and guidelines.
• Complies with company drawing preparation standards.
• Prepare opinions of probable cost of construction in company standard format.
