Job summary

Siegfried is seeking a Design Engineer in Sacramento, CA, to design and produce infrastructure construction documents for public and private projects. You will use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create plans for grading, drainage, utilities, roads, and site development.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree and 2+ years of relevant experience. EIT is preferred. Excellent communication and collaboration with clients and staff are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant civil design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Strong communication skills and professional interaction with clients, staff and management.
• Experience in design and production of infrastructure construction documents.
• Demonstrates integrity and builds strong relationships at all levels.
• Ability to identify technical issues and bring them to management.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software for design and documentation.
• Prepare civil engineering designs, plans, and specifications for grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and site development.
• Review project requirements, codes, and regulations for compliance.
• Collaborate with clients, technical staff, and management to ensure project success.
• Maintain organized project documentation and adhere to deadlines.
