Job summary

Cripe is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join its Indianapolis team. The role focuses on performance and direction of civil site design work across market segments, coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver quality designs. The position is full-time and located in Indianapolis.

The ideal candidate will manage construction documents, analyses, and cost estimates, while contributing to the firm's commitment to excellence and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Experience in site design projects and related civil engineering tasks.
• Strong ability to prepare and review construction documents, reports, and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and project teams to understand requirements and deliverables.
• Prepare, review, and oversee construction documents (plans and specifications) for civil site projects.
• Perform engineering analyses, provide opinions of probable costs, and support calculations to deliver quality design solutions.
• Apply QA/QC procedures to ensure compliance with codes and project standards.

Cripe is seeking a talented individual to join our progressive and successful team in the position of Civil Design Engineer.

Skill sets must include performance and /or direction of specific engineering work on diverse civil site design projects across market segments and with varying degrees of complexity. Specific engineering work may include but is not limited to the following: client communication, construction document (plan and specifications) and technical reports preparation and/or oversight; engineering analyses, opinions of probable costs, and supporting calculations; independently evaluate, select and recommend and /or perform design solutions, procedures, criteria, and quality control/quality assurance activities in order to deliver a quality design product.
