Job summary

A well-established engineering and design firm in Boston seeks a motivated Civil Designer with 0–3 years of experience to join a collaborative, mentorship-focused team. You will contribute to civil/site design projects and develop your skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and related tools.

Collaborating with senior engineers and project managers, you will prepare drawings, assist in stormwater and site design, and participate in client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Registered Engineer in Training (EIT), pursuing PE licensure in Massachusetts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD and related design software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on civil/site design projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and reports using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Assist in the design and analysis of stormwater management systems, grading, utilities, and site layouts.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Contribute to a culture of mentorship, teamwork, and professional development.
