Mortenson is seeking a Truck Operator to operate Water Trucks, Dump Trucks, Haul Trucks, and Tractor Trailer/Lowboy on construction projects. You will follow safety regulations, maintain clean work areas, and perform routine maintenance while monitoring equipment for malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Related construction experience preferred.
• Current driver's license of proper classification and necessary endorsements as required by law.
• Strong teamwork orientation.
• Positive attitude and professional customer service skills.
• Detail orientation.
• Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals, and maneuver steering wheel to operate equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and load charts.
• Knowledge of equipment and their uses.
• Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, and multiplication).
• Ability to work independently.
• Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback.
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.

Truck Operator

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Truck Operator that will be responsible for operating trucks as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures.
