A Advanced Septic and Construction Services is seeking a skilled Civil Construction Pipelayer to join our field crew in Washington. You will install water, sewer, and storm utilities on active job sites, read site plans, and operate power tools while maintaining safety and productivity.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in underground excavation and a valid driver's license; the role is full-time with competitive hourly pay and benefits. Training on pipe lasers and precise alignment is provided.

Responsibilities

Civil Construction PipelayerJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourWe are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pipe installation, and utility locating.A Advanced Septic and Construction Services is currently looking to add an experienced and talented Civil Construction Pipelayer to our Civil Construction Team.Qualified Candidates must be well established and knowledgeable in ALL aspects of the job, including water, sewer, and storm.Job Responsibilities:Work on active jobsites with a team to safely and productively complete civil, storm, sewer, and water projectsComplete demolition, excavation, and installation of utilitiesOperate gas chop saws, plate compactors, jumping jacks, pumps, and other handheld power toolsEfficiently read an engineer tape and levelMaintain a clean and organized jobsiteWork with site plans to install underground utilitiesAble to set up pipe and rotator laser and use efficientlyCalculate and set grades and slopesWork safely in and around trench boxes, shoring systems, and steel platesKeep company equipment properly serviced and cleanCommunicate effectively throughout projects with peers and supervisors as needed or directedPerform general labor duties as assigned and/or as the workload dictatesWork in adverse weather and site conditionsInstall various sizes and types of pipes ¾” to 24”Familiar with the installation of different size structures within storm and sewer systemsRequirements2+ Years Civil Construction experience focused on underground excavation/utilitiesOutstanding AttendanceReliable TransportationValid driver’s licenseAbility to meet MVR requirementsAbility to work in a physically demanding and labor-intensive position safely and productivelyAble to work in all climatesMust be able to switch tasks quicklyMust be a team playerMust be willing to learn and willing to train othersAbility to communicate effectively with the teamHeavy Equipment Operation Responsibilities:Work on active jobsites with a team to safely and productively complete civil storm sewer and water projectsOperate heavy equipment such as front loaders, excavators, onsite dump trucks, forklifts, and sweepersKeep company equipment serviced and cleanedConduct daily inspections on equipment ensuring safety and reliabilityRead and interpret site plans to determine the layout of pipesBe able to safely move/install steel plates and shoring boxesCommunicate effectively throughout projects with peers and supervisors as needed or directedBe able to work in tight areas around existing utilitiesComfortable installing various sized concrete structures associated with storm and sewer systemsConfidently operate closely to individuals and buildings safely without incidentsRequirements:Have 3 years minimum of operating experienceReliable TransportationValid Driver’s LicenseAbility to meet MVR requirementsOutstanding AttendanceMust be able to read engineers tape and levelProficiency in operating heavy equipment including excavators, front loader, backhoe, onsite trucks, sweepers and forkliftsAbility to read and interpret site plans accuratelyKnowledge and experience in operating around existing utilitiesExperience with pipe lasers for precise alignmentStrong understanding of safety protocols in a construction environmentMust be willing to perform general labor duties as assigned and/or as the workload dictatesWork in adverse weather and site conditionsBenefits Package Includes:Company Paid Medical for Employees ($25.00 bi-weekly employee contribution, After 3 months)Dental Insurance – Supplemental Available (After 3 months)Vision Insurance – Supplemental Available (After 3 months)Company Paid $25,000 Life Insurance401K - 4% Company MatchPaid Sick Leave - Accrue 1 hour for every 40 hours worked starting on Day 1; available for use after 90 days.Paid Time Off (PTO) Plans - Available after 1 year, with increased accrual based on tenureAdditional Supplemental Options AvailablePet Insurance – Supplemental Available through United HealthcareAflac Supplemental Insurance (Short- & Long-Term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident, etc.)Professional Development OpportunitiesRetirement PlanReferral Bonus ProgramEmployee Discount Program6 Paid Holidays (After 6 months of employment)As a token of our gratitude, Veterans and Active Military Members Receive Veterans Day as an Additional Paid Holiday (After 6 months of employment)Schedule:Monday to FridayOvertimeWeekends as neededSee above job description for qualifications.
