Job summary

Infrastructure LLC is seeking qualified candidates for construction sites in Virginia. The ideal candidate has experience with water mains, sewer systems, and storm drainage. You will manage daily operations, ensure site safety, and lead a crew while operating equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and 6-10 years of experience. Concrete experience is preferred. A hands-on attitude and proactive solutions to job site challenges will be essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe site and ensure team safety.
• Plan and schedule daily tasks for site and crew.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Work simultaneously as an operator while leading the crew.
• Communicate effectively.

Skills

Calculate, shoot, and set grade elevations

Calculate volume/cubic yards of material and tonnage for stone

Read survey and lay out stakes, read plans and blueprints

Operate heavy equipment (bulldozers, backhoes, etc.)

Supervise and lead crew

Manage and oversee job site and subcontractors

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Job description

We are looking for qualified candidates to work on our construction sites located in Charlottesville and the Lynchburg, VA area.

Our ideal candidate has experience installing Water mains – Ductile & PVC, Gravity Sewer, Storm Drainage, Conduits & Duct Banks. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can‑do attitude and be willing to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Work experience: 6-10 years.

Education Minimum: high school diploma or GED preferred.

Valid drivers license required, CDL preferred.

Skills

• Calculate, shoot, and set grade elevations.
• Calculate volume/cubic yards of material and tonnage for stone.
• Read survey and lay out stakes, read plans and blueprints.
• Operate equipment effectively such as bulldozers, trackhoe, backhoe, loader, skid steer, roller etc.
• Supervise and lead crew.
• Manage and oversee job site and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe site, ensuring the safety of team members at all times.
• Plan, schedule and execute daily tasks for site and crew.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Work as an operator while still leading the site and crew.
• Communicate effectively.
• Be able to pass drug testing as this is a drug‑free workplace.
