Job summary

ACCIONA Energía seeks a Civil Construction Engineer II to support renewable energy projects from construction through turnover. The role ensures safety and adherence to designs, standards, and regulations while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with 4–6 years of experience, is proficient in AutoCAD and scheduling tools, and has a valid driver's license. This is a project-site role at Fleming Solar Farm in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; 4–6 years of civil/construction exp.
• EIT certification preferred; renewable energy or utility-scale experience valued.
• Knowledge of civil construction practices, codes, QA/QC standards.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office; scheduling tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor civil construction activities to ensure specs and QA/QC compliance.
• Serve as SME for civil construction; coordinate with contractors and engineering reviews.
• Review drawings, define requirements, and manage RFIs and change orders.
• Monitor progress against schedule; communicate recovery plans to management.
• Lead safety and environmental compliance and support project turnover to operations.
