Job summary

Urban Infraconstruction LLC is seeking a Civil Carpenter to join our Operations Team. The role involves constructing forms for concrete, inspecting forms during pours, and directing stripping of forms after placement on-site.

You will install miscellaneous concrete components, set pre-cast elements, and finish surfaces using hand and power tools, while fabricating materials to exact measurements. Strong teamwork and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials for long periods.
• Knowledge of handheld and power tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible schedule is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Construct and place forms for concrete structures.
• Inspect forms during concrete placement.
• Assist and direct team in stripping forms after pour.
• Install miscellaneous materials in concrete structures.
• Install pre-cast concrete elements.
• Finish concrete by spreading, leveling and smoothing with hand/power tools.
• Fabricate materials to required measurements using saws, chisels, and planes.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct forms for the placement of concrete and structures
• Checks forms while concrete is being placed
• Assist and direct others in stripping forms after concrete placed
• Install miscellaneous materials in erecting concrete structures
• Install pre-cast concrete elements
• Spread, level and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float.
• Fabricates materials to prescribe measurements using appropriate tools such as hand or power saws, chisels, and planes.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials for long periods of time
• Knowledge of handheld and power tools including power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws and edging tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible schedule is a plus
