Job summary

Sea Island Land Development seeks a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our team. You will create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD tools while collaborating with engineers and project managers to meet client specifications.

The role focuses on developing 3D models, preparing schematics for utility and earthwork design, and maintaining organized design file documentation for project timelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong drafting skills enabling precise technical drawings.
• Experience with land surveying equipment and data collection.
• Familiarity with site work design concepts and schematic development.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop, draft, and build detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
• Create 3D models and visualizations using AutoCad Civil 3D and TopCon software.
• Produce civil engineering designs utilizing Civil 3D to support infrastructure projects.
• Prepare schematics for utility and earthwork design projects, ensuring all specifications are met.
• Review and revise existing drawings based on feedback from engineers or project leads.
• Maintain organized documentation of all design files and revisions for easy access by team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project requirements and timelines.
