Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of civil engineering and surveying design processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D with 3D modeling experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general software tools.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed civil layout drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Carlson Software.
• Generate profiles, alignments, surfaces, pipe networks, and construction details.
• Interpret and apply engineering plans, notes, and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure model accuracy and drafting standards are met.
• Utilize Carlson Software tools for land surveying, topographic data, and surface modeling.
• Handle complex design and drafting tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Produce clear technical manuals describing project features, operations, and maintenance.
• Review and verify engineering drawings for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Communicate effectively with staff, clients, local jurisdictions, and project consultants.
• Maintain productivity in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
