Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a CADD Technician to support our Midwest teams. The role focuses on the design of linear utilities, pump stations, and treatment plants for water and wastewater infrastructure, with emphasis on Autodesk Civil 3D proficiency and effective team communication.

The ideal candidate will work within established CADD standards, collaborate with design engineers, and contribute to accurate construction drawings while adhering to quality

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in CADD or an associate’s degree with additional experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related design software.

Responsibilities

• Work within Autodesk Civil 3D following internal or client-driven CADD standards.
• Coordinate with design engineers to develop accurate construction drawings.
• Adhere to quality control procedures and company standards.
• Develop drawings from engineering sketches and concepts.
• Complete designs using standard engineering principles and practices.
• Create and document concepts, sketches, models, layouts, submittals, and design packages.
• Capable of designing with minimum direction.
• Perform design calculations, reports, and construction documents.
