Job summary

The University of Chicago seeks an Associate Vice President for Civic Partnerships and Community Impact to provide strategic leadership for advancing civic engagement priorities. Qualifications

• Education: College or university degree required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: 10 or more years in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the University’s civic engagement priorities as directed by the Chief Strategist for Community Engagement and Partnerships.
• Cultivate and steward executive-level relationships with leaders across government, philanthropy, higher education, nonprofit organizations, business, and civic institutions.
• Identify opportunities to align institutional expertise and resources with community priorities and partnerships.
• Develop implementation plans, priorities, and performance measures for major civic engagement initiatives.
• Provide leadership and oversight for project teams, consultants, and cross-functional groups.
