Overture Partners is seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist to lead Cityworks and Enterprise Asset Management initiatives in a modernized system project. You will drive asset lifecycle improvements, data migration, and cross-team collaboration with IT and vendors.

The role requires hands-on Cityworks experience, strong data and integration skills, and a BA/BS in a related field. This is a hybrid position with remote work and periodic onsite presence in the Boston area.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of asset management experience or related technology implementations.
• Hands-on Cityworks or similar EAM experience including implementation, upgrade, or modernization.
• Strong knowledge of data migration, system integration, and asset lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SME for Cityworks and EAM technology throughout the project.
• Review asset management processes and maintenance workflows to identify improvements.
• Define functional requirements and future state workflows aligned to system capabilities.
• Review vendor configurations, technical designs, interfaces, and documentation for completeness.
• Assess integration needs across GIS, SQL Server, and related applications.
• Lead data mapping, data quality reviews, and migration validation.
• Coordinate system testing, defect review, and deployment readiness.
• Identify project risks and gaps and propose practical solutions.
• Create process documentation and training materials for go-live support.
• Partner with business users, field operations, IT, and vendors to drive adoption.

Asset Management Specialist (Cityworks / Enterprise Asset Management)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist with strong expertise in Trimble Cityworks and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems to support a system modernization project. This person will help improve asset management practices, streamline maintenance workflows, and support a successful system implementation.

Qualified candidates will have at least 7 years of asset management experience, hands-on Cityworks implementation or upgrade experience, and strong technical knowledge of data migration, system integration, and asset lifecycle management.

Must Haves

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise asset management, maintenance management, or related technology implementations
• Hands-on experience with Trimble Cityworks or a similar EAM or work management platform, including implementing, upgrading, or modernizing the system
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, preventive and corrective maintenance, work orders, and asset tracking
• Experience with Esri GIS integrations, Microsoft SQL Server, and data migration
• Working knowledge of data quality, asset data structures, and data governance
• Experience with system testing, requirements gathering, and working alongside implementation vendors
• Ability to document business requirements, explain technical recommendations clearly, and work across business and IT teams
• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

What You Will Do

• Coordinate system testing, defect review, and deployment readiness
• Identify project risks and gaps and recommend practical solutions

• Partner with business users, field operations, IT, and vendors to drive adoption

Additional Information

• Work arrangement: Primarily remote, with onsite presence about once per month

Preferred Qualifications

• Cityworks certification or similar platform credentials
• Experience with infrastructure or public sector asset management
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with cloud architecture and enterprise applications
• Knowledge of formal data governance frameworks
