Job summary

City of Roswell, Georgia, is seeking a Part-Time Shuttle Driver to transport customers and support Recreation & Parks events. You will help plan and coordinate trips, supervise seasonal staff, and ensure safe, courteous service for residents and visitors.

The role requires a Commercial Driver’s License, prior bus driving experience, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Three years of bus driving experience transporting passengers.
• Valid Georgia Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Clean driving record within last 5 years.
• Current AED, CPR and first aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates a City vehicle transporting customers to various destinations.
• Assists in planning, organizing, and scheduling recreation activities.
• Supervises part-time/seasonal staff and volunteers.
• Maintains positive public relations with participants and staff.
• Collects trip fees, stocks supplies, and ensures vehicle cleanliness after trips.
• Follows trip itineraries and adjusts plans as needed.
• Communicates with supervisor about issues and trip ideas.
• Reports emergencies and maintains safety standards.
