Job summary

City Rise Safety in Northern California is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Driver for the Bay Area. The role focuses on safe delivery, placement, and retrieval of traffic control equipment, with responsibility for timely service and professional customer interaction.

You will work from our Fremont headquarters, load and unload equipment, plan routes, and perform warehouse duties such as inventory checks and sign-outs.

Qualifications

• Valid CA Driver’s License with a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
• Clean driving history. Must be insurable.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse environment.
• Previous experience in a delivery role in a construction or general warehouse environment.
• Experience driving medium duty trucks, towing equipment.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge of NorCal, especially Bay Area and extended Bay Area.
• Strong verbal, writing, and math skills.
• Full knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent multi-tasking ability and time management skills.
• Good Customer Service skills.
• Can-do positive attitude.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Great organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review daily delivery and pickup schedules and complete stops on time.
• Safely load and unload equipment from company vehicles.
• Deliver, place, install, and retrieve traffic control equipment at customer locations.
• Perform equipment quality checks before delivery and on return.
• Safely uninstall and remove rental equipment.
• Plan efficient delivery and pickup routes using GPS and navigation tools.
• Review traffic control plans and site requirements to ensure equipment is delivered and placed appropriately.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Monitor vehicle location and delivery progress using GPS and company systems.
• Communicate delivery issues, delays, equipment concerns, or site conditions to the appropriate manager.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe driving practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
• PPE Equipment distribution and properly request equipment for re-stock.
• Perform inventory of the required equipment allocated on every truck as needed.
• Assisting with equipment sign-outs.
• Ensuring equipment is fully functional and in good operating conditions.
• Assisting with custom sign creation.
• Warehouse assignments such as, cycle counts, stocking of equipment, loading of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and fast learning Warehouse Delivery Driver for our Bay Area service territory. This position reports into Warehouse Operations Manager in our Fremont Headquarters.

The Warehouse Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery, placement, installation, pickup, and removal of traffic control equipment at customer locations. The position also supports intercompany equipment transfers between company locations and performs a variety of warehouse responsibilities, including inventory counts, receiving, stocking, equipment inspections, and loading.

The successful candidate will have strong customer service and time-management skills, the ability to work independently, and good knowledge of Bay Area and Northern California geography. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to safely load, unload, move, install, and remove equipment as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Delivery Driver Duties:

• Review daily delivery and pickup schedules and ensure all assigned stops are completed accurately and on time.
• Safely load and unload equipment from company vehicles.
• Deliver, place, install, and retrieve traffic control equipment at customer locations.
• Perform equipment quality and condition checks before delivery and upon return.
• Safely uninstall and remove rental equipment from customer locations.
• Plan efficient delivery and pickup routes using GPS and other navigation tools.

• Occasionally climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Tolerate moderate noise levels and exposure to moving equipment, dust, and other warehouse conditions.
