Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Currently licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• Experience handling criminal and traffic cases preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare courtroom dockets and ensure proper filing of paperwork.
• Respond to discovery requests and motions; manage case motions.
• Handle plea bargains and try cases in court, bench or jury.
• Prosecute cases and handle matters on appeal when necessary.
• Communicate clearly with officers, witnesses, and the public; work in a team.
• Develop proficiency with case management software and related tools.
