Job summary

USPS is seeking City Carrier Assistants nationwide. You will deliver mail and packages on assigned routes, assist customers, and help with basic administrative duties. No prior experience is required as USPS provides paid training to set you up for success.

Openings are available nationwide with starting pay of $23.47–$38.62 per hour. Annual compensation can reach up to $72,400 plus a full benefits package including PTO, health coverage, retirement plans and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Mail: Deliver mail and packages to homes and businesses on assigned routes
• Customer Assistance: Help customers with postal inquiries and service requests
• Sorting Mail: Organize and prepare mail by size, shape, and route for accurate delivery
• Administrative Duties: Maintain delivery records and support basic clerical operations
