Job summary

USPS is looking for City Carrier Assistants to support mail delivery nationwide. You will deliver mail and packages on assigned routes, help customers with inquiries, and sort mail for efficient dispatch. Training is provided and prior experience is not required.

Openings are nationwide with starting pay of $23.47–$38.62 per hour and a potential annual compensation up to $72,400 along with a full benefits package including paid time off, health coverage, retirement plans, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Mail : Deliver mail and packages to homes and businesses on assigned routes
• Customer Assistance : Help customers with postal inquiries and service requests
• Sorting Mail : Organize and prepare mail by size, shape, and route for accurate delivery
• Administrative Duties : Maintain delivery records and support basic clerical operations
