Job summary

USPS is seeking City Carrier Assistants to support daily postal operations nationwide. No prior experience is required, as USPS provides comprehensive paid training to set you up for success. You will deliver mail on assigned routes and assist customers with inquiries.

Openings nationwide with starting pay at $23.47–$38.62 per hour and an annual compensation of up to $72,400 plus a full benefits package. You will also sort mail and maintain delivery records as part of your regular duties.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Mail: Deliver mail and packages to homes and businesses on assigned routes
• Customer Assistance: Help customers with postal inquiries and service requests
• Sorting Mail: Organize and prepare mail by size, shape, and route for accurate delivery
• Administrative Duties: Maintain delivery records and support basic clerical operations
