Responsabilidades

• Review financial activities, procurement, contracts, grants for accuracy and legality.
• Promote transparency by evaluating reporting practices to leadership and the public.
• Assess compliance with municipal/state/federal regulations and grant requirements.
• Evaluate internal controls across city departments; propose improvements.
• Prepare audit reports for City Manager, City Council, and audit committees.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and monitor ongoing risks.
• Develop and maintain the City's annual risk-based audit plan.
• Present findings to executive leadership and City Council.
