• Five years of increasingly responsible experience in professional civil engineering, including two years of administrative responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Public Administration, Business Administration, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.
• Possession of a current certificate of registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in California by date of application.

Responsibilities

• Guide planning, design, review, and delivery of infrastructure to support a growing community.
• Lead a team responsible for engineering plan review, construction inspection, transportation planning, infrastructure policy, and development implementation.
• Foster collaboration with developers, consultants, contractors, utilities, regional agencies, and community stakeholders.
