Job summary

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in New York City is seeking an Undergraduate/Graduate College Aide to support the Miscellaneous Revenue unit. You will build dashboards, assist with data cleaning, and help maintain the centralized fee database, enabling analysis of fiscal impacts on city operations.

Eligible students must be enrolled full-time in an accredited program and possess strong analytical and Excel skills; Python/PowerBI experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Graduate: must be enrolled in a graduate program with strong analytical, quantitative, research and communication skills; proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Undergraduate: must be enrolled; strong analytical, research, and communications skills; familiarity with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist analysts by building user-friendly, automated dashboards and visualizations.
• Support the monitoring of revenues for various City agencies including data entry, organizing, cleaning and basic analysis of datasets.
• Help maintain the centralized fee database ensuring updated data on legislative authority, implementation dates, and the responsible administrative agencies.
• Provide research support regarding Federal, State, and Local legislation and regulations to assist analysts in evaluating fiscal impact on City operations.
