The Dewberry’s Citrus Club in Charleston, SC is hiring a Bar Attendant to support the Food & Beverage department in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare and serve drinks, maintain a clean bar area, and assist with beverage inventory and guest service.

We seek a reliable team member with beverage experience and knowledge of cocktails. This full-time/part-time role offers a flexible schedule and competitive pay with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year beverage service experience.
• Knowledge of beverage and cocktail recipes and specifications.
• Knowledge of safe food and beverage handling procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to operate hand tools and kitchen equipment.
• Dependable work ethic with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverage orders according to customer requests and recipes.
• Ensure bar area, inventory, and supplies are organized, stocked and safe.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Calculate and collect bar tabs.
• Track and secure bottles of liquor, beer and wine.
• Set up bar unit, tables, chairs, and supplies.
• Clean glassware and utensils.
• Maintain a clean, safe bar environment and monitor alcohol service.

SUMMARY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the safe and sanitary preparation of beverage orders and ensuring that the bar area and supply of liquors, beers, wines, and other beverages is maintained.
• Prepare drink orders according to customer request and recipe specifications.
• Check identification of customers to verify legal age requirements.
• Calculate and collect bar tabs.
• Track, open and secure bottles of liquor, beer, and wine.
• Set-up of bar unit, tables, chairs, and supplies.
• Clean glassware and utensils.
• Stock ice and glassware.
• Maintain and replenish all bar beverages and supplies.
• Maintain a safe and clean bar environment including monitoring customer alcohol consumption.
