Job summary

SAIC seeks a System Administrator to support the NIWC LANT CLOUD CITI Division. The role spans physical and virtual data centers, including commercial cloud providers, with on-site duties in the New Orleans area.

You will build CVAD environments, manage Citrix NetScalers, apply DISA STIGs, and maintain Windows servers per DoD standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, documentation, and ticketing via ServiceNow/Jira complete the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 9+ years of demonstrated experience; 4 years in lieu of degree.
• Strong knowledge of CVAD, NetScaler, and Windows Server technologies.
• Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and DNS management.
• Experience implementing DISA STIGs and DoD security standards.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira for ticketing and changes.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams using Agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deploy Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) systems.
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot CVAD components on Windows Server platforms.
• Manage Citrix NetScalers (physical and virtual) for performance and availability.
• Apply DISA STIGs; manage patches; update Citrix and Windows via WSUS, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
• Maintain, upgrade, and secure Windows servers per DoD/DISA standards.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and support customer application needs.
• Collaborate with virtualization and storage teams to optimize systems.
• Document system configurations and processes (e.g., SharePoint).
• Review, manage, and troubleshoot incidents/changes via ServiceNow and Jira.
• Provide technical consulting and advocate system improvements.
• Use Agile methods (Kanban/Sprints) for delivery.
• Develop automation scripts and tools in PowerShell for efficiency.
