Job summary

Citizens Bank is hiring a front-line customer associate in Vermont. You will greet customers in the lobby, help them use our mobile app and ATMs, and complete simple transactions with accuracy and care.

You’ll deliver personalized advice to meet financial goals, educate customers on Citizens products, and connect them with Bankers for next steps, while following all cash handling procedures and applicable laws. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital).
• At least 1 year of customer experience, recommending and referring products.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Ability to ask questions to identify needs and build long-term relationships.
• Comfort with using digital technology to support business goals.
• Must be able to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Video interview assessment after applying as the next step (within 7 days).

Responsibilities

Starting Salary: $21 / hour and up

What you'll do

You’ll greet our customers in our lobbies. You’re comfortable enough with technology to demonstrate how to use our mobile app, or our ATMs, to complete simple transactions. You’ll create amazing experiences for our customers, looking for opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals by providing personalized advice and solutions that meet their needs, and connect them to our Bankers for the next step. Your knowledge of Citizens products and benefits will educate customers, and allow you to effectively respond to questions and/or concerns. All financial policies and procedures will be followed, including proper cash handling, state and local laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• High School degree or GED
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $20.67 - $25.48 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
