Job summary

Citizens Bank in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Teller to greet customers in the lobby, assist with transactions, and showcase mobile app and ATM features to complete simple tasks.

You will help customers achieve their financial goals with personalized advice, follow all cash handling and regulatory policies, and connect customers with Bankers for next steps, while supporting a friendly, community-focused branch.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to ask questions and identify needs to develop long-term relationships.
• Ability to solve problems and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric approach to delivering exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Must complete video interview assessment after applying, within 7 days.

Starting Salary: $21 / hour and up

As a Citizens Teller - YOU make a real difference for our customers and the branch team.

What you'll do

You’ll greet our customers in our lobbies. You’re comfortable enough with technology to demonstrate how to use our mobile app, or our ATMs, to complete simple transactions. You’ll create amazing experiences for our customers, looking for opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals by providing personalized advice and solutions that meet your needs, and connect them to our Bankers for the next step. Your knowledge of Citizens products and benefits will educate customers, and allow you to effectively respond to questions and/or concerns. All financial policies and procedures will be followed, including proper cash handling, state and local laws and regulations.

• The salary range for this position is $20.67 - $25.48 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
