Job summary

Citi Dubai is seeking a Citigold Private Client Relationship Banker AVP to join our Private Client Coverage team. The role blends relationship management with wealth advisory, operating in a hybrid model with two days remote per week.

You will manage CitiGold relationships, assess client needs, advise on asset allocation, mobilize funds, and promote fee-based products while maintaining rigorous KYC/AML standards and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in private client or similar role.
• Experience with CitiGold or wealth management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of KYC/AML and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Client Account Management
• Review CitiGold customer needs and asset allocation, engage with the customer to validate needs.
• Advise CG customers to mobilize funds and sell fee-based products/services based on needs.
• Review product penetration for the assigned client base and identify potential CG customers.
• Ensure coverage of relationships through engagement, risk profiling and financial planning.
• Organize CG customer events to enhance bonding.
• Acquire new CitiGold customers through referrals.

What you’ll do

The Citigold Relationship Banker requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based.

You are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.

• Client Account Management
• Review CitiGold (CG) customer needs and asset allocation, pro-actively engage with the customer to validate the understanding of the needs.
• Advise CG customers to enrich the relationships by mobilizing additional funds and sell other fee based products/services based on the current and future customer needs.
• Review product penetration for the assigned client base, identify potential CG customers who can be sold tailored products to enhance product penetration
• Ensure coverage of all relationships through customer engagements, risk profiling and financial planning.
• Organize CG customer events to enhance customer bonding.
• Acquire new CitiGold customers through converting referral leads.
• Compliance, Risk & Controls
• Ensure that KYC/AML and other compliance norms are strictly adhered to.
• Fulfilling the clients’ necessities while providing an exceptional client experience is the expected behavior from all our employees and it will be measured by specific metrics.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

What we’ll need from you

• Ideally 7 years+ within this space
• Previous relevant experience preferred
• Ability to manage relationships both internal and external; Ability to prioritize
• Mandatory certifications as required for selling financial products
